I wonder does anyone know what vacation is anymore. Vacation is relaxation. I don't know why everyone has to do something on vacation. Vacation isn't going to a museum, hiking a mountain, going shopping, or even going out to eat every night. I can't stand when we are on vacation and my brother and my mom decide we need to "do something." If they had planned this beforehand it would be different, but on the spot I got to be involved with some "Family Activity."
I why can't we all sit on the couch and watch TV together. Like we are really spending quality time together by watching a movie at the theatre.
Vacation is lazing around and eating snack food 24/7. Vacation is sleeping 16 hours a day. Vacation is making your butt's imprint on the couch. Vacation isn't "Doing Something."

In my opinion, and that's what blog's are for, OPINIONS....vacation is time away from your everyday life which should be devoted to rest or pleasure and if leaving your butt imprint on the couch gives you pleasure then so be it. I personally like leaving my butt imprint on the couch but also doing more pleasurable things as well that I can't accomplish during a regular and vigorous work week. I must add that my views of vacation have changed through the years and I'm sure your's will too.
